I have noticed that recently gaming companies seem to waring the fps wire a little thin. It seems like game after game of the same alien blasting, zombie killing, and Nazi rittling crap fill the shelves. Im not a real big FPS fan myself, but I know originality when I see it. You can't honestly tell me that there is a one of a kind FPS out there, since every one has a dozen counterparts. I want the nice third person free roams back, so I can enjoy gaming a little more again.

My 2 cents

Chance : I actually was thinking kinda the same thing. It's all FPS and sniper/stealth stuff now days. What kind of 3rd person are you thinking? I love FPS, but not *just* FPS.

Jaws : Have you ever played HALF LIFE/ half life 2? it doesn't get any more fun/ origanel than that, omg, the FPS with the most story ever.

theotherguy4 : have you noticed that some fps's also have a third person mode? Or vice versa. And also, many originally third person games were changed into third person. Metroid for example. And GTA. You can switch it to first person mode.

also, the one of a kind part, when one company creates a good game that gets tons of money, other companies copy the idea and make it different, but the general gameplay stays the same. That's why there are so many that are the same.

ghostblur : Has anyone here played Tribes 2? Greatest FPS ever made. No other game comes close. It took skill to able to play Tribes.
