And so falls another Colossus... This one was more difficult than the rest. It was small and fast and mean. My sword and arrows could do nothing to hurt it. Luckily I was able to use the ruins scattered about to give me an advantage. This was one of the more difficult Colossus that I have faced.

After I defeated it, I was hit with the black energy from my fallen opponent. It knocked me out, as it always does, and I awoke once again in the Shrine of Worship. As I came to, I couldn't shake the feeling that I wasn't alone. I felt as I would awake to people standing over me, but as I gained consciousness I woke to find that the Shrine was empty of all but me, my fallen love, and Argo, my horse.

The voice spoke to me again. Telling me of my next opponent. It's a guardian to a ruined city. I don't know what that really means, but I'm intrigued. What city? Who lived there? Where did they all go? I guess I will find the answers soon as I am nearly ready to start off to find my next opponent.

All that stands between me and being reunited with my love are two Colossus. The master sword has lead me here and helped me defeat the previous 14. I've seen creatures the likes of which I have never heard of but in song and legend. Creatures that have lived for hundreds of years... Creatures that have never been defeatable.... Now they have fallen by my hand and the master sword.

Although the end of my quest is approaching, as long as I can defeat the last two and survive, I can't help but feel that I may be a pawn in some game greater than I can comprehend. Each time the spirit in the shrine speaks to me, I cant help but think it may be manipulating me for it's own benefit. According to the legend, the master sword can bring my fallen love back to life at the shrine. And so I hope when I defeat all 16, the spirit in the shrine will be able to bring her back. It's the only chance I have to be reunited with her, so I have no choice but to continue on.

The nagging though in the back of my head is "why?". Why is the spirit there at the shrine? Why does it contain statues representing each colossus? After I defeat the final 2, and their statues fall, what will happen? What if someone has created those to somehow "trap" the spirit there for some reason? I don't know why these thoughts are in my head. The spirit has not had the opportunity to lead me to believe it is anything other than helpful, but I still cant wonder why it is held at the shrine and why the statues were created to shunt its power. What else will it be able to do once all the statues fall?

I have no choice but to continue on. If I give up, she will remain dead. If I fail, I will also be dead. All I can do is defeat the last 2 so we can be together again.
